We have spent our holidays in the summer and winter for many years in the Saalfelden region and we've lost our hearts to this lovely area. We love the imposing mountains, the nature and the region of Salzburg, a region that you can enjoy in all four seasons.

Guesthouse with holiday apartments in Saalfelden in a quiet and sunny location!
Our Osterthor Guesthouse is in a rural location, but easily accessible, in Almdorf-Osterthor, an idyllic village between Saalfelden and Maria Alm. In the winter you don't need tyre chains to get to us.
The view of the Hinterreit ski slope and the mountains of the Steinernes Meer is breath-taking. Due to the location in a wide valley, you enjoy plenty of sun and the view of the surrounding majestic mountain ranges all year round.
You can relax on the sunbathing lawn at our natural swimming pond. 300m² of swimming fun, and we've even thought of the little ones with a non-swimmers' area.
The holiday apartments
All of our three holiday apartments in the Osterthor Guesthouse in Saalfelden have light-flooded rooms, comfort and plenty of space. The name for them came from some popular ski slopes in the area. Underfloor heating, free WIFI and flat screen cable TV included, naturally.
